The installation is very simple. People only need to paste it behind the door.

Q1: How is the key pad attached to the door?

A1: The keypad needs to be bound with the specific lock on the app.

After binding successfully, the keypad works properly within the valid BLE connection range with the GIMDOW smart lock.

Within the range, it doesn't matter which position you fix the keypad, you can attach it on the door or on the sidewall as you like.

Q2: Where is the power supply coming from? (if battery , how long will that last for?)

A2: The lock uses 4 cells of AA batteries while the keypad uses 2 cells of AA batteries.

The theoretically battery life is about 300 days in case of unlocking 10 times a day.

Both the lock and the keypad will sound beep alarm on low battery so that you will know it is time to replace the batteries. 

Besides, the app will also show low battery warning once the battery is lower than 20%.

Q3: What if the battery is totally flat? still need code of smarth phone to open the door from inside?

A3: GIMDOW smart lock won't stop your mechanical keys from openning the door from outside.

       You can still use the mechnical keys after installing this attaching lock.

       Even the battery runs out, you can still use your keys to open the door from outside.

Q4: How many users can be programmed to a single lock?

A4: No limit, the admin user can share the authorization of unlocking/locking with other users as many as being needed.
